The tax is a joke. Some teams have higher payrolls than other teams have revenues. Its clear that more revenue sharing is necessary including a part of the local TV deals where there is a huge gap. Something also must be done to stop tanking. As was mentioned both the Cubs and Astros followed that path to success and they are not small market teams. A minimum salary must be installed for teams, which would make the players union want to take part.
